Thandanani Donation

On 5 February 2021, we were acknowledged on Thandanani's Facebook page for the products we donate to their program. 

We began donating to Thandanani in July 2020. Our donations included a case of 6 bottles of 120 capsules of Formula IV every month to The Thandanani Children's Foundation in Pietermaritzburg KZN.

Duncan Andrew, the Director of Thandanani, provided amazing feedback from the Thandanani fieldworker that shows the difference our products have made in just 2 weeks! 

"In July 2020 a fieldworker visited the Modondo family to provide them with a supply of NeoLife supplements[...]. The fieldworker explained the benefits to the family and, although the children were [a] bit anxious about the size of the pills, they gave it a try. In a follow-up visit, […], the Caregiver said the children were all taking the pills daily and that they even remind each other when it was time to take the pills […] the children are eating more and that they seem to have more energy since […]. She expressed her gratitude for the supplements"

In January 2021, the Fieldworker confirmed that the families wanted to continue receiving the NeoLife products.

July 2021

Since then, Yourday2day contacted Thandanani for statements regarding their experience working with us.

Nuh Ralenkoane, a family strengthening facilitator with Thandanani was kind enough to correspond with us.

Ralenkoane confirmed that that the supplements are distributed to 3 families, with 12 children, in different communities in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

“By continuing to donate multivitamins Veronica enables us to provide these [supplements] to families who otherwise would not be able to afford to supplement their children’s nutritional intake to help ensure a strong immune system and optimise their growth and development.”

Ralenkoane acknowledges that the continued support, through donation, is crucial to helping these children’s bone growth and brain development.
